Happy New Year

Ringing in the New Year by enjoying the New Year. The New Year brings with it a fresh start and a sense of resolution. We often make New Year’s resolutions in an attempt to improve ourselves and the lives of those around us but lets make this year our best year!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

This time of year is the perfect time to reflect and show appreciation. Christmas is a time of giving, I want to give my appreciation to everyone. I am truly grateful for all of my family and friends along the way! Hope you all have a great holiday break, see you back in school next year!

Holiday Christmas Party

It’s that time again, where did the year go? Fast approaches the night that has been the talk in the unit for weeks and you’re all looking forward to blowing off some steam after another tough year! But on 22nd of December 2017 we are having our 2nd annual Christmas Party!

The Navy JROTC Annual Military Inspection (AMI) is conducted every other year to certify and inspect the Navy JROTC program at BHS.  The inspecting officer is the NJROTC 5 Area Manager, Captain Jim Daniels US Navy (Retired).  He inspects each NJROTC Cadet in a platoon formation, receives a formal administrative, operational and supply/logistics brief from the NJROTC Staff.  Additionally, he reviews and inspects the Citizenship Development Management and Information System (CDMIS) with the Admin and Supply Officer. The inspection culminates with the Bulldog Battlation Pass in Review parade held at the BHS Football Field.  This year’s Reviewing Officer for the Pass in Review was a BHS Principal – Ms. Robynne Prince as representatives from Bowie NJROTC Boosters and parents/guardians and their guests.  The end state? The Bulldog Battalion passed the inspection!
